Presented as part of an exhibition by Thai auteur Apichatpong, this book is an A.I.-generated conversation between the artist and various characters such as the Sun, Tilda Swinton, a blackhole, and Krishnamurti. The coherence, but also absurdity, of the dialogue created by the platform, GPT-3, is equal parts intriguing and philosophical, perhaps even more interesting than some of the conversations we encounter with “real” humans.
